Car Set-up Is Back At The Right Time As Adams Finishes 3rd

Oxford,ME-  Finally the set-up under Travis Adams is back to where it should be. After starting 13th on the grid and a big points in sight for the Canton native after Shawn Martin wrecked in the heat races. But the night was young and full of surprises. For one the other Travis in the field, Travis Stearns that is, took the 40 lap event for his second career feature win. Also a struggling Don Wentworth finished 2nd boosting his team after weeks of trouble. 

A rather uneventful 40 laps with the caution flag only waving once over the 21 car field. Under that caution Travis boosted his team by saying," He got a hot rod tonight boys." After the lap 9 caution Travis adventured out to the 2nd groove and made it stick moving around Corey Morgan and setting sail to catch the top 2 but his rally fell two positions short finishing in the 3rd spot . The 1st podeum finishing in it seemed like forever but the 3 time champion and points leader padded his points lead to 35 over Shawn Marting heading into 99.9 The Wolf Fan Appreciation Night with only 3 more weeks of racing remain in the points chase. Racing next weekend will begin at 6:30 with heat races followed by feature racing.

 


Harvick DIGS DAH BUS

Oxford, ME-  Just days before Kevin Harvick would go on to win the 35th Annual TD Banknorth 250 at " Maine's Superspeedway" he would meet up with the 3-time and 2 time defending LMS Champion.  After making several trips by Travis Adams Bus, on Saturday morning Travis would wave at Harvick bringing the NASCAR Superstar over for a chat. " I just had to tell you guys you know I think you have the coolest hauler ( at the 250)." Harvick digs DAH Bus! But the quick witted Adams shot back saying, " You know Kevin our haulers are just alike, we own them."  After signing a few autographs for us over the entire weekend, all of us at Adams Family Racing would like to thank Kevin for everything he did , from pictures to signing multiple things we greatly appreciate everything and would like to congratulate the entire KHI team and Kevin Harvick.
